Programs for elementary, middle and high school kids include Summer Discovery, Summer School, and Sustainable Summer, and there is even a Parent Camp!

Summer Discovery!

Space of Mind summer campers explore their passions and discover new ones through the arts, music, movement, cooking, fitness, filmmaking, songwriting, yoga, maker labs and even environmental studies! Our experienced team of coaches create fun, personalized and exciting learning experiences for each child to feel challenged and inspired. Campers can also hone their academic skills, whether for course credit or just remediation and enrichment. Have your child learn and grow socially, emotionally, creatively and intellectually this summer – all while having an aweSOMe time!

Summer School is cool at SOM!

High school students looking to complete their online course requirement (through FLVS or another platform), make up credits or get ahead can do so in a fun and inspiring environment where academic coaches are on-hand to offer support, guidance, organizational and study skills.

Sustainable Summer

Save our City! The Sustainable Summer Program allows campers to become a civil engineer for the summer and design a city that can sustain itself as our future redefines the environment and our way of life. Each camper will be responsible for researching, learning about and creating livable and sustainable systems for our local community. Working with experts and in collaboration with one another, campers will explore the impact of technology, weather, consumerism, transportation, agriculture, renewable resources, water safety and ecology while creating solutions to save the city. This program is open to middle and high school students and can be offered for course credit (with a small additional fee) or just for fun.

JULY 10 TO AUGUST 3 • FULL DAYS, 4 WEEKS.

Parent Camp!

When moms and dads tour our whimsical and inspiring space, they always ask for a parent program! On Thursday evenings this summer get artsy, learn to cook healthy family meals, do yoga, enjoy wine and food pairings, learn to raise a tech-savvy and safe child, and more! Most of all, meet other parents just like you and have FUN!

Sustainable Summer

July 10 to August 3 • Full days, 4 weeks.

Summer Schoolhouse

June 12 – Aug 3 • Full or half days, can sign up for any or all weeks.

High school students looking to complete their online course requirement (through FLVS or another platform), make up credits or get ahead can do so in a fun and inspiring environment where academic coaches are on-hand to offer support, guidance, organizational and study skills. College application support is also available for students looking to knock out essays, research schools, complete applications and prepare for the college life.

Engineering & Entrepreneurship

June 12 – 15 • Weekly registration, full days

Spend the week imagining, developing and pitching your product idea! Campers will participate in an entrepreneurship think tank, a Shark Tank competition to pitch their ideas to real entrepreneurs and culminate the week in an “Invention Convention.”

The Harry Potter Hogwarts Adventure

June 19 – 22 • Weekly registration, full days

Calling all wizards and witches! We’ve got a week full of wand-making, astrology, Quidditch and potions. The week will culminate in a trip to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley at Universal Studios in Orlando.

WSOM Media Arts

June 26 – 29 • Weekly registration, full days

WSOM is our schoolhouse news station, and this is your chance to be on the production team. Whether you’re behind the camera, on camera or working on the news beat, there’s a role for you!

Express Yourself Arts Retreat

July 5 – 6 • Two days, one night

Spend an overnight and immerse yourself in the creative arts. We’ll explore self-expression through fine art, movement, photography and creative writing, culminating in a pop-up gallery show!

Farm-to-Table Culinary Creations

July 10 – 13 • Weekly registration, full days

Our junior chefs will learn the basics of gardening, food sustainability, meal planning, cooking, event planning and menu creation. We’ll visit local restaurants, grocery stores and tour the local community gardens by golf cart. The week will end with a pop-up dinner for the community!

Everything Water!

July 17 – 20 • Weekly registration, full days

Spend the week immersed in water – learning about it’s importance to our environment through marine biology and water science labs. You’ll jump on in through surfing, snorkeling, water games and swimming. The week will end with an aweSOMe snorkeling trip!

The Mad Scientist Experience

July 24 – 27 • Weekly registration, full days

Put your lab coat and goggles on and have fun doing science experiments, creative problem solving and exploring how things are made.

Songwriter’s Workshop

July 31 – Aug 4 • Weekly registration, full days

Want to be a rock star?! This is your first step! Learn the basics of songwriting, recording and producing. You’ll visit a real recording studio, learn from working musicians and end the week with your own Open Mic Night!

Parent Camp

June 15 – Aug 3 • Weekly registration, full days

Plan a date night and we will entertain your kids with fun activities, snacks and drinks.
