Space of Mind’s Summer Series 2026

The ultimate Discovery & Culinary Camps for curious, active kids (Ages 5–14)

June 15th-August 7th 2026. 9AM-3PM.

Looking for a summer camp that keeps kids moving, thinking, creating and learning all day long? Space of Mind’s Summer Discovery Camps are designed to be the most hands-on, activity-based and educational camps in the area.

This is not sit-at-a-desk learning. This is full-body, full-brain engagement for kids who learn best by doing – whether they’re builders, artists, scientists, performers, gamers, movers or deep thinkers.

Summer at the Schoolhouse – $400 per week or $90/day

Discovery Camp – $425 per week or $105/day

Culinary Camp – $500 per week or $115/day

Snacks are included. Students attending full days should bring a healthy lunch.

Week 1

June 15th-19th

Digital Creators Studio Discovery Camp

Lights on, cameras ready & ideas rolling! Kids explore filmmaking, photography, podcasting, animation and graphic design while building confidence, creativity and digital storytelling skills.

Chop, Stir & Sizzle! Culinary Camp

Aprons on – skills loading! Learn knife basics, cooking techniques and kitchen safety while building confidence and independence in the kitchen.

June 22nd-26th

Wild Science Lab Discovery Camp

Science you can touch, build and experiment with! From hands-on chemistry to engineering challenges and discovery stations, curiosity leads the way all week long.

Bake It ‘Til You Make It! Culinary Camp

Whip, mix, and measure your way through breads, pastries and desserts. Discover the science behind baking while creating sweet and savory masterpieces.

June 29th-July 2nd

Sound, Style & Self-Expression Discovery Camp

Music meets visual art in a week full of rhythm, movement, painting and creative expression. Kids explore how sound, color and emotion come together to tell stories.

Tasty Travels

Take your taste buds on a trip around the world! Cook international dishes, explore new flavors and learn the stories behind the food.

July 6th-10th

Mind, Body & Media Week Discovery Camp

A balanced blend of creativity and calm. Campers create short films, explore music and practice wellness through movement, mindfulness and relaxation activities.

Fuel Up!

Learn how food powers your body and brain. Cook balanced, healthy meals while exploring nutrition, wellness and mindful eating.

Makers & Masterpieces Discovery Camp

Big ideas, bold creations! Kids paint, sculpt, build and design through large-scale art projects that encourage experimentation and imagination.

Foodie Art Attack

Turn your meals into masterpieces! Learn plating, food styling and creative presentation that makes your dishes look as good as they taste.

Week 6

July 20th-24th

Color War: The Ultimate Camp Showdown Discovery Camp

An action-packed, high-energy week of team challenges, obstacle courses, creative competitions and collaborative games. Campers earn points through teamwork, strategy, sportsmanship and creativity – all leading up to an epic Color War finale.

Kitchen Showdown

High-energy fun! Compete in team challenges, mystery ingredient cook-offs and timed competitions while sharpening teamwork, problem-solving and creativity.

Week 7

July 27th-July 31st

Global Explorers Discovery Camp

Travel the world through hands-on activities, international art, music, games and food. Kids learn about cultures while building empathy and global awareness.

Farm to Fork Fun

From garden to plate! Explore seasonal ingredients, sustainable cooking and fresh recipes that celebrate local flavors.

Week 8

August 3rd-7th

Interactive Media & Game Design Discovery Camp

From gaming concepts to photography and video creation, kids explore how digital worlds are built – then design and showcase creations of their own.

Cook, Snap & Show Off!

Lights, camera, action – on your food! Learn food photography, menu design, recipe writing and end the week with a showcase of your signature creations.

Academic Acceleration & Credit Building

Earn High School Credits – Stay on track or get ahead with customizable, mentor-supported courses. Credits may be earned based on the student’s current school enrollment and graduation plan (available for public and private school students; homeschool credits are pre-approved).

Get Ahead or Catch Up in Core Subjects – Accelerate or recover credits in math, science, humanities, or electives.

Flexible Scheduling – Full-time, part-time, or private tutoring options available.
